Two-Way Beanie

This attractive and very functional hat can be made with or without the visor. The band is made to cover your ears on a cold day. Use the soft yarn (merino wool, silk, cashmere, or alpaca), do not add the visor and it becomes a very nice and soft simple beanie. Enjoy the versatility of this pattern. You can easily change the main stitch pattern by substituting any strip with cables or any textured stitch patterns.

Additional suggestions for visor insert: any craft foam sheets, plastic mesh, or fabric stitched many times over. Cut out the shape of your knitted bill.
