Before I started designing full time, I was teaching college math for many years. That experience deeply shaped how I approach pattern writing. Teaching is at the heart of what I do. I believe learning new techniques should feel exciting, not intimidating. I design with curiosity and care, and I write patterns that are clear, supportive, and friendly—because I want you to feel confident and inspired. Most of all, I love connecting with other knitters. It’s such a joy to see how each person brings their own creativity to a design. I want my patterns to be a space where you can learn, experiment, and enjoy the process every step of the way.
