Combination 3-needle bind off. Knit and Purl.

Well-known 3-needle knit bind-off is great for knit side of Stockinette. If you apply it to reverse Stockinette or Garter stitch, you will see that purl stitches separate and knit “road” will go through your fabric.

My design GOODFELLOW top for Interweave Knits Summer, 2017 has a Garter stitch band that I needed to connect invisibly, so I came up with purl 3-needle bind off. Enjoy! This is also great for any number of situations when knit and purl stitches are combined. Example wide ribbing like k2, p2.
