Kara Kum Slouch

The simple multidirectional woven slip stitch pattern is forming a look of sand dunes similar to the ones in the dessert like Kara-Kum that is located in Central Asia.

As the hat comes closer to the crown, the stitch is swirling and gathers at the center like a sand storm. Twisted rib of the brim complements and accentuates the over- all stitch pattern. This stitch pattern only looks like a difficult one, but if you know how to knit and slip a stitch, you have all the skills required for it. The drape of the yarn by Anzula Cricket is perfect for this hat.
