Flora

The shape of this hat is similar to the contour of French cloche. Worked in the round from brim to crown it begins with rolled edge to reinforce the relaxed look of a cloche. A tall brim worked in k1, p1 rib that provides functionality of holding hat in place. It also makes a nice transition to a beautiful, but simple, Stamen slip-stitch pattern.

The knitted flower on this lovely topper is a perfect final touch. The flower is worked separately and sewn in place after the cloche is gathered on one side.

Two different versions of the knitted flower are given in this version of the pattern.
