Distino
Unique shape of this shawl is echoed in its name. Distino means different in Spanish. And it is different, indeed.
Reminiscent of a compound shape formed by two rectangles, this shawl silhouette is very simple to knit.
There is no need for a traditional shaping such as decreases and increases to obtain this form. Just cast on and knit away enjoying your color choices and beautiful slip-stitch patterns. Once the main portion of a shawl is done, cast on more stitches and continue working through the main portion plus a tie.
Once you reach the height of the tie, bind off and enjoy various ways to wear Distino.
Suggestions for modifications and ways to wear this fun and very functional shawl are given in the pattern.
