Teaching Live Shows

This year is a year of coming back to live shows. It is a slow recuperation for everyone. Each time is very special for the organizers, instructors and, of course, students.

Zoom classes still take place and some topics do benefit from this setting, but if you ever gone to the live show you know what virtual classes are missing.

VKL in Seattle some of my friends teachers in the evening

So far I have taught at three wonderful shows.

  1. Red Adler in Tacoma, WA

The best of the best in spinning, weaving, crochet, and knitting come to teach there. I love the atmosphere of deep respect to the craft learning and teaching that floats in the air. The market was not very large, but exciting.

I hope very much to come back there.

  2. Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle, WA

When this show was cancelled 2 years ago due to Pandemic regulations it was a hard thing to realize that we can’t be enjoying fibers and colors that bring so much inspiration to our creative souls together in a big crowds.

Fast forward to this year and we did it. It was a smaller gathering but as exciting as I expected. Great students and so much fun!

  3. Interweave Yarn Fest in Loveland, CO

Has a very special place in my heart. This show is also a combination of many media of crafts that are taught by the best instructors in the field.

There were so many of my fiber friends that I have not seen for 2 or even 3 years! I loved every minute of it.
